Sending peer-to-peer payments

Customers can send money to their contacts via their phone number or email address. This is called “Making a Lydia”®.

It's also possible to perform wire transfers.

From the application

The customer can click on the double arrow from the home screen and be guided to make a Lydia. The customer must ensure that the selected account has a sufficient balance.

Customers can even top up their account last minute using a bank card, Apple Pay or an instant transfer.

Customers can enter a mobile phone number or email address, or search their contacts if they have agreed to let the application access it.

Peer-to-peer Lydia payments cannot be used to purchase or sell goods or services from businesses and professionals. Some activities are also forbidden. To find out more, see article 5 of Terms of Service for Individuals.
