Reporting a Bitpanda GmbH digital asset account
Accessing more than 3000 assets with your app is made possible thanks to Lydia partner Bitpanda GmbH. Bitpanda GmbH accounts are considered digital asset accounts and must be reported to tax authorities, whether the user owns securities or not. Depending on his level of use of the Lydia investment service, the user will also have to declare the gains or losses related to their investments in his tax return.
Step 1 : Download the recap spreadsheet sent at the address linked to the Lydia account 📧

Step 2 : Open the spreadsheet and keep the information mentioned at the top đź“‹
Step 3 : fill out all the fields of form 3916 using those information đź“ť
- In section 2 : tick the checkbox “Compte d’actifs numériques”
- In section 4.2 : tick the checkbox “Titulaire en propre du compte d’actifs numériques à l’étranger”
