Sumeria referral program
Sumeria customers can refer and be referred via a link or a code that anchors their relationship. Over time, this relationship can bring them exclusive benefits.
Referring
By clicking on the referrer’s link, the recipient will be directed to a dedicated referral page where they can enter their phone number. Once their number is entered, they will be prompted to go to the “Referral” screen in the app to accept the referral confirmation message
The recipient must have the application installed on their phone and create a user account if they don't already have one, to confirm his referral.

If a customer can refer 10 clients a day, a customer can only be referred to by a single other customer. Also, a customer who already refers someone cannot be referred in turn.
Track and manage Referrer <-> Referee relationships
The Referral screen can be used to track a referee's evolution, with the aim of assisting them if needed.
Getting referred
To be referred and become a referee, you must ask a Sumeria customer to share their referral code or referral link (see "Referring" above).
The referral code must be entered manually in the app. The referee can click on "I received a code" from the Referral screen. Once the code is entered, they will be prompted to accept the referral via a message in this section.
The referral link directs the referee to a dedicated page where they enter their phone number. After completing this step, they must go to the Referral screen in the app to confirm their referral.
A referral confirmation message will appear, along with the terms. These must be accepted.
Current benefits
Cumulative benefits:
50% of the referee's monthly bonus
The referrer receives about 50% of the "Remunerated current account" bonus their referees receive, for 2 years following the creation of the Referrer <-> Referee relationship.
€10 each
From the moment the referee has made 5 payments (of minimum €5 each) at 5 different stores following their referral, referrer and referee each receive €10.
€20 or €30, each
- If the referee chose the annual Sumeria+ version, each of them will receive €20 (the benefit related to the Sumeria+ offer does not apply to those under 25, who receive a different discount for this version);
- If the referee chose the monthly or annual Black Card version or the combined Sumeria+ and Black Card offer, each of them will receive €30.
To enjoy the benefits linked to the card, referees must never have made more than 2 payments by card since the opening of their account and none in the 2 months before their referral.
To enjoy the benefit linked to a subscription, referees must not have subscribed to a paid offer in the 3 months before their referral.
US Person customers cannot enjoy referral offers, meaning they can't receive referral rewards either.
Referral reward payouts
The reward for the 5 card payments is credited 7 days after the last eligible payment.
For eligible offers, the reward is credited up to 2 weeks after the offer was subscribed to.
As for the reward on the current account interest the referee is earning, the referrer starts accumulating the equivalent of half of the referee's current account interest 1 month after the referee earned their first referral reward. The referrer earns the reward in the following month.
Example: if the referee receives their first reward (e.g., €10) on January 15, the referer will start accumulating their own reward in February, which will be credited in March.
