Adding or deleting a bank card

Customers can register their bank card in Sumeria, so they can top up their account in just a few clicks when they need to.

Add a bank card

To add an external credit card, the customer must click on on the wallet in the middle of the home page, then on "+" and finally on "Add an external credit card".

The customer is then invited to follow the steps and fill in the requested information.

He can also click here from a cell phone.

Accepted bank card

CB, Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Maestro cards, as well as those with dynamic visual cryptograms are accepted, if they are issued by establishments in the following countries:

Austria; Belgium; Canada; Croatia; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Greece; Ireland; Italy; Luxembourg; Malta; Monaco; Netherlands; Norway; Portugal; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland; United Kingdom.

In the Lydia app, it is possible to add a bank card with a dynamic visual cryptogram (this is the case if the 3 digits on the back of the card are automatically renewed several times a day). The client need to activate the "Dynamical CVV" option, from the card parameters screen.

Business cards are also accepted, but only for Lydia Black+ and carte noire customers.

To test the validity of the card, Lydia simulates a transaction of €1. This euro will not be debited from the customer's bank account. To find out more, read " Lydia charged me €1 for adding a bank card ".

Delete a bank card

To delete an external credit card, the customer must click on on the wallet in the middle of the home page, then on the credit card in question and finally on "Delete card".
