Policy applicable to the customization of cards issued by Lydia Solutions

All users having subscribed to an offer allowing for payment card(s) to be issued on the Lydia accounts mobile application can customize their Visa physical card(s) by adding two lines of text on the front. These two lines cannot replace the name of the card holder: it is systematically inscribed on the back of the card with the rest of the information such as the numbers or the expiration date. The two customizable lines of text give free rein to your imagination to inscribe your nickname, motto, catchphrase… It is nevertheless a payment instrument, there are thus some rules to follow.

The French version of the policy applicable to the customization of cards issued by Lydia Solutions prevails over the English version.

Categories

Lydia Solutions reserves the possibility to refuse some words, expressions or signs in a discretionary manner. The non-comprehensive list of refused content includes words, expression or signs going against public order or morality and relating to controversial social subjects. This includes any element:

  • directly or indirectly threatening, hateful, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, racist, xenophobic, homophobic or violating the honour or reputation of others
  • degrading or prejudicial to human dignity
  • with a sexual connotation or relating to pornography
  • inciting to commit an offense, an infraction, a crime or an act of terrorism or glorifying war crimes or crimes against humanity
  • citing a trademark
  • of religious or political nature
  • violating the rights of a third party
  • citing the name of prominent figures

This list is not restrictive and must be broadly interpreted.

Size

Only two lines of text are allowed, with a maximum length per line. We will warn when you exceed the authorized length during the customization of your card.

Authorized characters

Emojis are not authorized. You can however enter any “traditional” character relating to the French or English language. Letters are necessarily all written in upper case.

In addition, Lydia Solutions reserves the right to reject any customization, and thus without having to give a legitimate motive. Lydia Solutions is thus free to refuse any customization, even if it does not contravene the above-mentioned rules.
