Manual Incidents Incident fees for inoperative seizures

Incident fees for inoperative seizures

What is an inoperative seizure?

A seizure is considered to be inoperative when the customer’s account does not have sufficient funds to honor the claim (or when the seizure is no longer justified - e.g. the customer has already paid its debt). In this case, the operations department must carry out various checks and notify the parties concerned, resulting in additional fees that are deducted directly from the customer's account.

Amount of fees

Incident fees can be invoiced to a maximum of € 99. You will find this information in the pricing and limits annex. Lydia Solutions has considered and estimated the management costs of an inoperative seizure at a limited amount of € 20.

Good to know

In application of the payment account agreement (or e-money account agreement) for individuals, any type of transaction requiring special treatment, in particular when it leads to an irregularity or operating incident on the payment account, is subject to the application of specific fees. When the customer is identified as a fragile customer, Lydia Solutions applied a capping of banking incident charges at € 25 per month or € 20 per month in the context of the specific offer for fragile customers.
